Located in downtown Pacific Grove, California, Bookmark Music has been specializing in sheet music since 1994. In 2011, we expanded to carry ukuleles in the store, and haven’t looked back. We carry new Flight, Kala, Luna and Amahi ukuleles. At the Festival, we have Hawaiian shirts, socks, music books, accessories, and of course, new ukuleles for sale. Our store staff can assist with any requests, be it ukuleles, sheet music, acoustic guitars or music gifts. Special orders are welcome
The Strum Shop is a family owned full service, musical instrument store opened by Daniel Elliott Jr and Stu Herreid in May of 2012. Daniel had already been working on a business plan to open his own music store, while Stu was looking for a new meeting place for the rapidly growing ukulele club he had founded a few years earlier. They decided to join forces and the concept for The Strum Shop was born.
The Strum Shop strives to 'inspire musicianship, equip musicians and enrich the community through music.' "We don’t want to just sell stuff," says Elliott, "we want to create a space for music enthusiasts to come together and pursue their passion of music making."
TYDE Music was born on the North Shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe. It was founded in 2010 by self taught luthiers Tyler Joersz and Devin Price. Pronounced "Tide" the company name is a collaboration of the founders names. (Ty) ler and (De) vin = TYDE. Both apprenticed under master woodworker and founder of Roundwood Furniture, Cline. TYDE Music has an appreciation for wood, and understand it is a major life source to our planet. While they do use exotic woods, they prefer to use local, reclaimed, and sustainable woods in their instruments.
Starlight Ukes is an online ukulele academy as well as an online ukulele store. Classes at the Academy are created and taught by Romero Creations artists Dani Joy & Perry Stauffer. Students at the academy learn about improvisatin, fingerstyle techiniques, music theory and more.
Starlight Ukes will be selling Romero Creations instruments and Ohana Basses and Shakerleles.
